Description

How have Catholic and Protestant Christians responded differently to the racial tensions in the US over the last several years and this year?  What might we be able to learn from one another?  What areas of growth still remain?  Where might deeper partnership be possible going forward?

Join Rev. Bill Haley and Fr. Christopher Pollard, Pastor of St. John the Beloved, for a rich conversation between friends about a vitally important topic.  They will be looking closely at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishop's 2018 Pastoral Letter on Racism, "Open Wide Out Hearts: The Enduring Call to Love".  It has much to offer us in our present moment, no matter our denominational background, so we encourage you to read through it before our time together.  Fr. Pollard will also be referencing this famous Malcolm X Speech in case you would like to look it over beforehand.
