Creation is God’s gift to us, a home created for us with His fingerprints all around us if we take time to pay attention.  The return of the chirping of birds, often more pronounced in the quiet of the early morning. The soothing sounds of flowing water.  The strength of mountains. All of these gifts to speak to us of the strength and beauty and mercy and faithfulness of the One who surrounds us just waiting for us to turn our attention back to Him so that we can dwell together in sweet communion.

In our hurry our souls too often take the toll leading to weariness, despondency, lethargy, anxiety, restlessness, and so many other unsettled states desperately in need of healing and restoration.  God tells us of two ways to restore our souls: dwelling in His Word (Psalm 19:7) and creation (Psalm 23:2-3).

We invite to join with us in a day of rest and attention to the beauty that surrounds us in creation.  Under the guidance of Greg Elmer, the Coracle Baltimore team has designed a series of stations in nature with guided meditations to help us stop and wonder at the beauty of water, trees, flowers, and other natural elements that have the power in communion with God to settle us and draw us to the One who designed them all.
