Hush Harbor Clearing Day

The work goal for the day is to clear a wooded area in order to build an outdoor chapel and worship space (Learn More about our Hush Harbor and Peace Pavilion Project).  We will be taking down trees and clearing heavy brush and vegetation. Any and all are welcome!  Kids are too but need to have parental supervision the whole time as there will be chainsaws and open burn piles throughout the day. 

Please bring your own lunch and drinks.  Some snacks and bottled water will be provided.  Drop-in anytime between 9:30am and 4:30pm and stay as long as you like in that window.  Masks will be required as we will be working in teams with other people.  Originally scheduled for Feb 20th, we have pushed to March 20th due to weather. 

Equipment to bring if you have it:  (nothing is required but we cannot provide tools or equipment onsite either) 

• Leather gloves (recommend) 
• Safety glasses (recommend)
• Chainsaw 
• Pruners
• small hand saws
• Pitchfork 
• Metal rake
